If you've been hanging out to play the new Medal of Honor and own a copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 attached to your Steam client, then now's your chance to jump into the action. EA have extended access to allow BF:BC2 gamers to partake in the Medal of Honor beta. Just download the beta client and prepare for battle.The news is accompanied by the unveiling of the limited edition version to hit shelves on release:
The Limited Edition version of Medal of Honor will grant players exclusive access to the MP7, a unique weapon utilized by Tier 1 Operators in the field. Limited Edition owners will also benefit from day-one access to the TOZ-194 and 870MC2 shotguns, while others must rank up to secure these weapon unlocks. Gamers can pre-order the Limited Edition now at www.medalofhonor.com at no additional cost.
PS3 gamers will also benefit from the inclusion of a special version of Medal of Honor: Frontline in their LE package. For Xbox 360 and PC gamers however, it doesn't sound so much like a limited edition as a repeat of the Bad Company 2 map pack fiasco to torment 2nd hame gamers.
Medal of Honor will hit store shelves on October 14th.
