Front-Page Guidelines

Every blog on the front page should contain an image that is wider than it is taller (widescreen style) and should be exactly 320px wide. You may link this to the permalink or an appropriate target. The brief should contain 2 or 3 short paragraphs then a pagebreak where additional information may follow.

How To

Creating A New Blog

Go to the games page, press "Add News" in the menu.

Adding The Image

To add an image to the Blog, click on the GUI tab on the far right of the editor body. Click on "select image". Choose the file you want and click okay to upload it.
Images will be automatically re-sized to 320 width resolution. It would be best to keep the all images 320x180 resolution.

Next step is to Permalink the page. First add a TOC key to the page in the 'Naming' tab of the editor. Create a lower-case name with hyphens but no spaces. This name must be unique. Once done, you can link directly to the page like so:
Click Here For the rest of my Blog
End result:

*If you are having trouble finding where the TOC Key goes click here.

Creating The Page-Break

Pagebreaks are important as they define where the brief should be cut off. Simply add the tag [pagebreak] where you want the brief to finish. Everything after that tag will only appear on the permalink page.

Other Tips

It's good practice to add "meta data" to the page. Add a description of the page in the 'Description' field, and add some keywords for search engines seperated by commas in the 'Keywords' field of the 'Properties' tab. Keep them both short and sweet.

You must always fill in a page title, but you can leave the heading blank. If you do this then the heading is the same as the page title.
